Warrior of the Week Official Contest Rules

From approximately April 1, 2017 through July 1, 2017, the Warrior of the Week contest (Contest) will endeavor to recognize qualified members or former members of the United States military services, including the United States Army, United States Marine Corps, United States Air Force, United States Navy and United States Coast Guard for the purpose of recognizing their service to our country by rewarding certain individuals as designated Warriors of the Week.
Sponsors of the Contest include Broadco of Texas, Incorporated, doing business as radio station KMGZ-FM “Magic 95,” and Nissan of Lawton.
To qualify, a Contest entrant must be either active duty or retired from one of the services listed above, along with other requirements as set forth below. A valid military identification must be shown to prove qualification.
Individuals who wish to enter themselves, or  enter someone else, must like the Nissan of Lawton Facebook page then Like and share the official contest post on the KMGZ-FM “Magic 95” Facebook page at facebook.com/magic953. A photograph of the entrant as well as a short description as to why he or she should be selected as a Warrior of the Week will be required to be posted in the comment section of the official contest post with the hashtag #winnissanoflawton. A new Warrior of the Week will be chosen from all entries received in the official contest post by the picture with the most "likes" and his or her name will be announced each Thursday during the Contest period. Individuals can enter the contest on a weekly basis. The Warrior of the Week will win a prize package to be determined and must present themselves with proper identification to Nissan of Lawton, 201 West Gore Boulevard, Lawton, Oklahoma during regular business hours to receive their prize package. Warriors of the Week must appear in person at Nissan of Lawton within 10 days of being informed of their winning, and must allow a photograph to be taken for the purpose of promoting their likeness.
Further, each Warrior of the Week will also be entered into a final Contest to be conducted on July 1, 2017 during Freedom Fest at Elmer Thomas Park for the change to win the grand prize: a 2017 Nissan Sentra. The grand prize winner will be chosen from all qualified weekly Warriors of the Week through a random drawing of keys. The number of keys will correspond to the number of Warriors of the Week, with one of the keys able to start the Nissan Sentra, and with all other keys being unable to start the Nissan Sentra. The first Warrior of the Week to start the Nissan Sentra with a key chosen randomly will be deemed the grand prize winner.
Sole responsibility for all prizes given away lie only with those entities sponsoring the contest, including the meeting of all applicable requirements.
In the event a Warrior of the Week contestant is unable to appear at the Freedom Fest event on July 1, 2017 a qualified proxy may substitute for him or her. To qualify, the proxy must have written authorization from the Warrior of the Week contestant stating that he or she grants permission for the proxy to participate in the Contest on his or her behalf, with the written authorization signed by both parties, a witness, and notarized. In the event this becomes necessary the Sponsors will provide the appropriate authorization form.
No purchase is necessary.
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older unless otherwise stipulated, except employees of participating radio stations: KMGZ-FM “Magic 95,” KMGZ-D2 “Hot Country 973 FM,” KMGZ-D3 “Sooner Classic Hits,” employees of participating sponsors of the promotion including but not limited to Nissan of Lawton, their immediate family members, employees of other broadcast stations, print media entities, event sponsors or advertisers, official or employee of the City of Lawton and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
By participating in the Contest winners agree to have his or her name, voice and likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material related to such Contest without further compensation, and (where permitted by law) to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
Prizes will not be mailed or delivered to winners.
All prizes are subject to IRS 1099 tax reporting.  Winners are responsible for any applicable licensing, federal, state, or local taxes associated with any prizes.
Prior to awarding any prize the Sponsors in their sole discretion may require the winner of such prize to sign a liability release, which holds harmless the Sponsors, any licensees, parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliated entities, their respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives and all of their successors and assigns against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest. The Sponsors are not responsible for (i) lost, stolen, mangled, misdirected, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries; (ii) telephone or mobile service outages, delays, busy signals, facsimile transmission errors, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call or from sending a text message (if applicable, message and data rates may apply, and the Station is not responsible for any fees incurred by an entrant for this method of entry); or (iii) entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technical difficulties.
Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest as it deems necessary if it is not capable of completion as planned, including, without limitation, as a result of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.  The Sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including, without limitation, the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsors, any event related to the Contest or prizes are delayed, rescheduled, postponed, cancelled or has a change of venue, the Sponsors reserve the right, but is not obligated, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize. The Sponsors are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
The Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sponsor’s Facebook pages.  Failure to comply with the rules of the Contest may result in a contestant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes.  If the Sponsors make a good faith determination that an entrant has cheated or committed fraudulent activity in connection with a Contest, the Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify that entrant from entering and/or winning future Contests.
Decisions of the contest sponsors will be considered final.
