Annual EEO Public File Report

The purpose of this EEO Public File Report (“Report”) is to comply with Section 73.2080(c)(6) of the FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station Employment Unit that is comprised of the following stations: KMGZ-FM, KMGZ-D1, KMGZ-D2 and KMGZ-D3 ("KMGZ") and the community of Lawton, Oklahoma and is required to be placed in the public inspection files of this station, and posted on its website.

The information contained in this Report covers the time period beginning February 1, 2016 to and including January 31, 2017 (the “Applicable Period”).

The FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule requires that this Report contain the following information:

A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Stations comprising the Station Employment Unit during the applicable period;

For each such vacancy, the recruitment source(s) utilized to fill the vacancy;

The recruitment source that referred the applicant for each full-time vacancy during the Applicable Period;

Data reflecting the total number of persons interviewed for full-time vacancies during the Applicable Period and the total number of interviewees referred by each recruitment source utilized in connection with such vacancies; and

A listing and brief description of the initiatives undertaken pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(2) of the FCC rules.

Appendices 1, 2 and 3, which follow, have been designed, in the aggregate, to provide the required information. Please note that the numbers listed on Appendix 2 under the column entitled “Full-Time Positions for Which this Source Was Utilized” refer to the number of the full-time positions listed in Appendix 1.

For purposes of this Report, a vacancy was deemed “filled” not when the offer was extended, but when the applicant accepted the job. An applicant was deemed “interviewed” whether he or she was interviewed in person, over the telephone, by e-mail, or by some other method of communication.

Section 3: Supplemental (Non-Vacancy Specific) Recruitment Activities Undertaken by KMGZ-FM, KMGZ-D1, KMGZ-D2 and KMGZ-D3

(Description of activities)

KMGZ has achieved broad and inclusive outreach with regards to its Broadcast Equal Opportunity Program through on-going activities over the one-year period February 1, 2016 through January 31, 2017 that has brought members of KMGZ management face-to-face with potential applicants. Some of the activities have included:


- KMGZ President and General Manager Chuck Morgan attended the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation Career Fair on March 31, 2016 at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Catoosa, Oklahoma. The Job Fair attracted approximately 150 college students broadcast students representing a dozen colleges and universities from Oklahoma.


- KMGZ morning talent Crash attended the MacArthur Middle School Career Fair on May 18, 2016 and spoke with eighth grade students about preparing for high school and their future goals.


- KMGZ President and General Manager Chuck Morgan and Program Director Big Al conducted a studio tour for 36 children from ABC Learning Center on June 7, 2016.


- KMGZ Program Director Big Al spoke to Mr. Adam’s broadcast class at Cameron University on December 6, 2016.
