In 2012 Magic 95 enters its 30th year of serving Southwest Oklahoma with the same local ownership, dial position and format that we started with! Mornings on Magic 95 begin with the award-winning Boogie and Indie, voted Lawton’s favorite Disc Jockeys by readers of The Lawton Constitution in 2005 and again in 2006! Other personalities include Big Al in midday, Steve O in the afternoons, Crash evenings and Cyn Garcia overnight. Special programming includes the Rick Dees Weekly Top Forty, Retro Pop Reunion, Brisa Tropical and Dawson McAlister Live.
In April 2012 Magic 95 was named 2011 Non-Metro Radio Station of the Year by the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters for community service, local programming, promotions, and business accomplishments.
Magic 95 targets Adults 18 to 54 with an adult contemporary format. Core artists include Sheryl Crow, Rob Thomas, Coldplay and Kelly Clarkson. Members of our Loyal Listener Club are dedicated listeners and active participants in our contests and promotions, and they respond to our advertisers. Magic 95's mission is to serve our community, and we accomplish this with annual activities like our Annual Get Lucky Car Show, The Fitness Revolution, Annual Moonlight Walk Against Drugs, community blood drives, fund-raising activities and more. For years, Lawtonians have counted on us and our Dog Gone & Cat, too program to help reunite lost pets. By doing so, Magic 95 has won more Community Service Awards from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters than any other radio station in Oklahoma.
